September 11, 2001 defined and changed the course of modern world history!

We believe in ONE God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all that is seen and
unseen comprising three distinct, eternally co-existing persons; the Father, the Son (incarnate in Jesus
Christ), and the Holy Spirit. ONE God in three Persons; the Father is God, the Son is God, and the
Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but ONE God. They are distinct from another: the
Father has no source, the Son is begotten of the Father, and the Spirit proceeds from the Father and the
Son. Though distinct, the three persons cannot be divided from one another in being or in operation.
We believe in the total depravity of man and that as a result of the fall, every part of man—his mind, will,
emotions and flesh—have been corrupted by sin. In other words, sin affects all areas of our being including
who we are and what we do. It penetrates to the very core of our being, infecting our soul so that everything
is tainted by sin causing us to be sinners by nature.
We believe in ONE Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God,
Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through Him all
things were made. For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit
He became incarnate from the Virgin Mary and is FULLY God and FULLY man. Jesus' coming was
the fulfillment of the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament.
We believe in Jesus Christ who was crucified under Pontius Pilate; died a physical death, was buried
within a tomb and rose from the dead three days later. Christ’s resurrection was the most significant event in
human history, and again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the
right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will
have no end.
We believe that as a result of man's total depravity, that justification and right standing with God
(Forgiveness of sin) through salvation, ONLY comes by Jesus' substitutionary death and resurrection.
Through belief in and acceptance of the death and resurrection of Jesus, sinful humans can be reconciled to
God and thereby are offered salvation and the promise of eternal life. Salvation is a GIFT that comes to an
individual by God's grace.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the
Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified, and together these three persons of the Trinity comprise
the Godhead. Though distinct, each person is considered to be fully God, eternal and omnipotent.
He has spoken through the Prophets and has inspired men to write the Holy Scriptures. Through faith upon
new birth, He indwells the new Believer restoring vertical communion with the Father which was severed
through Adam's fall. He is a teacher and the Spirit of Truth, He sanctifies and empowers as well as leads
the Sons of God into all Truth, conforming them to the image of Christ through the formation of Christ in men.
We believe in the inerrancy of the Holy Scriptures (Bible), a collection of canonical books in two parts (the
Old Testament and the New Testament), as the authoritative Word of God. This Bible was written by
human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and therefore is the inerrant word of God. All
Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in
righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. The Bible is a
self-sufficient revelation, the final authority on all Christian doctrine, and reveals all Truth necessary for
salvation.
We believe the Universal Church is made up of God's chosen, the Sons of God which are those who are led
by the Holy Spirit of God. The local Church is really not a place in so much as it is God’s agency on
earth, made up of these inner-dependent Believers gathering together for worship and fellowship.
Whether the gathering is in a building, basement, storefront or home, it has even less to do with the gaudy,
monumental sanctuaries and buildings that MEN erect and call "the church".
